We used these guys to print off a book and it came out really well. We varied
stocks and they were happy to accommodate our requests.

It’s a good printer for art objects (won’t collaborate with any other type of initiators). Very cheap even for Berlin, but you will have to physically participate in the
production. Contact: Matthias Mrowka (speaks English).

I use this printer because they specialize in traditional printing techniques,
though they do absolutely anything. By traditional I mean that if you want
to incorporate silkscreens into your publication, they can do it. They
emulate older/out of use printing techniques to perfection, either with
newer or older technologies, so this is the perfect printer for someone
wanting a very particular look to their book. The consultation process is also
very rigorous, and they are creatively involved from the start. They give
loads of advice and take the job personally, and as they are a small
company they are personally involved with all aspects of the process. They
are cheap and deliver on time. Their office is relaxed, they have a cute dog
and they make you coffee.
